Common questions
Is connected load the same as maximum demand?
No. Connected load is the sum of installed kW. Maximum demand is what the site draws after diversity and operating pattern.
What diversity factor should I use?
Use a measured load study where possible. The example is only editable scaffolding for a first estimate.
Can this replace an electrical consultant?
No. Cable sizing, starting current, safety, statutory forms and utility rules need proper electrical design.
