Your PDFs, read for you
Upload the monthly PDFs you already have from MSEDCL, Adani Electricity, Tata Power, BESCOM, TNEB, TPDDL and more, including kVAh-billed and solar net-meter formats. Duplicates are recognised and told apart per client.
Features
Seven stages that follow one thread. BillTrends reads your bills, finds the leaks, tracks them every month, plans your solar, surveys the site, brings in your consultant, and hands you a report that shows its working.
Read
Upload the monthly PDFs you already have from MSEDCL, Adani Electricity, Tata Power, BESCOM, TNEB, TPDDL and more, including kVAh-billed and solar net-meter formats. Duplicates are recognised and told apart per client.
Each bill is read against the tariff order in force for its own month, so ToD windows, PF treatment, demand floors and incentives are the ones that actually applied.
A number the bill does not support is not shown. Malformed or non-bill uploads are named for what they are and rejected instead of polluting the report.
Find
The engine tells under-correction, a swinging fixed bank and over-correction apart from kWh, kVAh and kVARh across the year, and sizes the APFC correction. On kVAh billing it works from the derived PF, where the printed one always looks perfect.
Contract demand, recorded maximum demand and billed demand compared across 12 months, with the safe revision the numbers support.
Load placement across time-of-day windows, load-factor incentive eligibility where the tariff order pays it, tariff category fit, and every adjustment traced to month, page and PDF.
Badges name where each number came from, whether your bill, a calculation, the tariff order, a disclosed assumption or a site survey. A dedicated page shows how each figure is calculated.
Track
Consumption, spend, demand and penalties month by month. A coverage strip shows exactly which months are missing so the trend stays honest.
Each savings lever (power factor, demand, ToD, load shape, payment discipline) tracked as monthly vitals with bands, so improvement and drift are both visible.
Mark when a measure was implemented and the Scorecard reads the months around it, so a fix has to prove itself on real bills.
Plan
Sizing, NPV, IRR, payback years and battery sensitivity built from your 12 months and your state's rules. It is net-billing aware, so export price and grid-support charges are modelled, and the conservative case is stated plainly.
For solar net-meter connections, the engine sizes a battery from your actual per-slot daytime export surplus, not a brochure profile, and is honest about payback.
Every assumption is disclosed with a range. Change one and the plan recomputes; your tuned settings are saved per client.
Survey
Motors, capacitor banks, measured THD, lighting, compressed air and more, captured in a stepper with safe defaults everywhere, written for the person on the shop floor.
Whole-site measures are computed to Bureau of Energy Efficiency guidance and priced alongside the bill findings in one ECM register.
Where a surveyed figure supersedes a desk estimate, the report shows both and says which applies. Audit-backed sections carry their own badge in print.
Share
Invite a solar consultant, an energy auditor or your own staff by email into one specific client. They see that client and nothing else in your account.
A read invitation can view everything; a write invitation can also enter site-survey data and add this connection's bills. Spending your credits stays reserved to you unless you explicitly allow a member to unlock.
Live presence shows when someone else with access is on the same worksheet, and an anonymous heads-up prevents two people silently overwriting each other.
Deliver
Every report prints to a clean A4 document through the browser, whether the full analysis, the combined pack or the audit worksheet, with charts and tables that never clip.
On the paid tier, your logo, business name and contact details sit on the report header and the prepared-by line. Free reports carry BillTrends branding.
Reading your bills back is free and stays free. One Report Credit opens the savings work on a connection. Uploads never spend a credit; opening the savings work does.
